PERISH

PERISH is a comic book that follows the character of Simon Perish during his earliest days and delves deeper into his relationship with another character, Empress Anahita. These two characters are some of the most important in SAMSARA and PERISH fleshes out their characters and backstory. The decision to make PERISH a separate story was done simply because I wanted to visually show the dynamic between these two characters and delve deeper into their motivations and emotion. The story will deliver crucial backstory on who and what these two people are just from a different aspect than what is told in SAMSARA.

The story is about Simon Perish before he acquired the name and follows him telling a story to the Empress and young son. It will show what happened to Simon in his youth and what led him to being at the church where he tells the story. It will also show what brought Anahita to the church to seek out Simon. After this the story will follow the two characters up to what is essentially the very beginning of SAMSARA, detailing what became of them and where they will ultimately end up.
